Go to your local yellow pages. Call some of the local dance schools and ask.
The yellow pages is probably a good starting place. Most dance studios run on a school calendar year (Sept. - May or June) and some have summer programs as well. Call a few in your area, talk to them and try to make a visit or two. Just like looking for a preschool or daycare, your impressions mean the most. Are the staff friendly and informative on the phone? Will they let you drop by the studio to observe a class or meet the teachers? Hopefully you will get to pay a visit, check out the conditions. Are the waiting area and bathrooms clean?

Even though it is "just dance class", you want to be sure that this is a comfortable place with instructors who love not only to dance but love children as well!
