How can I get the physique of a ballet dancer without the dancing? Are there any special exercises?

Everyone above me is lying. Ballet is hard, but getting a body like a dancer isn't.

First thing you need to work on is your posture. Straight back, head and sturnum up keep your abs pulled up and tight in your body.

Pilates is a great way that a lot of ballet dancers work out.

did you seriously just ask that?

look like a ballet dancer without dancing?

You won't look like a ballet dancer but you could be toned and healthy by doing complete ab workouts.

Didn't you just ask how to get the physique of a surfer?
if you want the body of a ballet dancer you will have to do ballet like exercises. but do yoga or pilates. they will get you partially there. set your goals for something else.
Without dancing ballet? Not possible.

Didn't you notice that ballerinas even walk differently, with more grace?
Are you serious? Answer is - You can't!..... and no there are no exercises to get a dancer's body short of dancing. Yours is kind of a dumb question imo - sorry
YOU CAN'T!

This is the third time I've mentioned this on here, so I feel like I'm always talking about it, but the NYC Ballet Workout will give you certain aspects of the look. I don't know if it'll make you look like a dancer or not, because the only ones I know who use it are dancers who are just using it as part of their daily exercise, but the theory seems to work and you'd be doing a lot of the more basic ballet movements. You're not going to have every quality ballet dancers have (if you want them, dance), but it might help with things like the shape of your musculature and your posture.

If you don't want to shell out the money (it's expensive if you're on a budget): basically, lots of ab work will give you a strong core, which leads to good posture. Lots of stretching will give you long muscles. Eating healthily and getting some exercise will keep the fat off.
u answered your own question...do the dancing to get the body type its that simple
Do you mean male or female? Female ballet dancers are thin to the point of it being very unhealthy. Not to mention the lack of breasts.

I don't know why you would want to look unhealthy. Just eat right, exercise normally and be healthy. Don't try to force your body into something unnatural.
